Micrologic Design Automation Joins Cadence Connections Program

nanoRVInteractive™ Seamlessly Integrates With Virtuoso Design Software, Offers Interactive Reliability-Aware design environment, reduces reliability verification cycles time by more then 50%!

West Hollywood, CA - May 5, 2007 -- Micrologic Design Automation, Inc., an electronic design automation (EDA) developer, today announced that it has joined the Cadence Connections® program of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CDN) (NASDAQ: CDN). The program promotes open interoperability between Cadence technologies and other companies' design tools.

Micro logic's nanoRVInteractive™ software integrates with the Virtuoso LE/XL/GXL Layout Editor platform, and offers interactive Reliability-Aware design environment that can reduce reliability verification time by more then 50%.

"We are pleased to work with Cadence to champion and support open industry standards. Our goal is to provide integrated circuit designers using Virtuoso layout Editor platform with a seamless interface to our nanoRVInteractive™ software to aid them with reliability issues, especially with complex nanometer designs" said Danny Rittman, President and founder of Micrologic.

"Cadence is pleased to have Micrologic Design Automation as a Connections program partner," said Tahir Malik, Connection’s representative at Cadence. "Our customers want, and expect, nanometer reliability solutions from their design software, and integrating nanoRVInteractive™ with Virtuoso technology is a significant step forward for our mutual customers."

nanoRVInteractive™ brings interactive automation to the current manual process of integrated circuits layout design, providing reliability solutions, reducing design time and pushing products to market sooner at reduced costs. nanoRVInteractive™ is a nanometer range EDA tool that interactively eliminates reliability issues during the construction of integrated circuit’s physical design. The tool automatically checks for reliability phenomenons including but not limited to electromigration, self heat and voltage drop (IR Drop) during the construction of IC layout, creating a Reliability-Aware mask design environment.
